About
My PhD research examines political subjectivity and meanings of work in post-socialist Latvia. I am currently on fieldwork in Riga, undertaking an ethnographic study at job centres and collecting life stories to document how understandings of ‘work’ and ‘self’ are being reconfigured in accordance with the premises of liberalism.
