I am a critical materialist feminist theorist with a specific interest in the intersections between biotechnological 'advance' and ecological precarity. Water is a particular interest of mine.

I am Editorial Chair of PhaenEx: Journal of Existential and Phenomenological Theory and Culture and co-organizer of the Thinking with Water project (thinkingwithwater.net).

During December 2011, I will be a Visiting Scholar at the Posthumanities Hub at Linkoping University, Sweden (http://www.tema.liu.se/tema-g/Posthuman?l=en).
